Move People,
Move the Needle

WBD makes complete e-commerce sites for independent brands. We’re highly particular about how things look, how things read, and how things work — because every one of those decisions, taken together, is what draws a customer deeper and defines your brand.

02 / Studio

An e-commerce creative agency for independent brands.

From our first meeting to a very fond farewell, we take great care to understand what you are, what you’re not, where you’ve been and where you want to be. And when we’ve listened, we listen some more. In our experience, it’s what makes the work great.

we mine the same sensibility as pegoretti. they make bikes by hand. we make sites the same way.

Surfing Waves ofEmotion

No love, no likes. If you don’t feel your site, neither will your customers. Yet you have a story — so why doesn’t your site tell it, in every detail, word and action? Who you are is what we work with. It’s how we connect your brand with your community — the customers you have now, and the ones to come.

We stand for brands that don’t want their site to look like anyone else’s. Businesses that demand the very best in design and technology, and have it work as hard as they do for their customers.

Everything we make is shaped by that.

Getting Fit with Regroup.

Regroup shop front in Tempe, where the new bike fitting studio lives

Apparently, we should all be fresh and fit in January. That is not the case here. We’ll blame our client Regroup, but we can also blame ourselves. After a stellar year, Regroup ended 2025 by kicking off a bike fitting project, going from nothing to a custom bike fitting studio at its Tempe, Arizona, location in less than four weeks. And we mirrored Regroup in the virtual world, tasked as we were with developing bespoke bike fitting software — for the bike fitter (the legendary Barry Anderson), and the client.

So we spent a large part of December doing just that — designing, coding and deploying a set of digital tools that allowed Regroup to hit the road rolling in January. It must be said that the client experience is top-notch. And the fluidity the tools afford Barry and his team keep him in the moment with the client, where he so loves to be.

Pegoretti · Verona, IT · 2026

A Question of Timing for Pegoretti.

Pegoretti — moments from the Bottega in Verona

When's the right time for a new site? In our experience, there's never just one moment — just breadcrumbs on the trail. Sales leads. The way a brand wants to be represented. New technology that opens up possibilities. A deeper understanding of where the work actually needs to go. And sometimes, the right answer is no. Site decisions are too elemental to be driven by an agency's billing calendar.

We'd been turning a new Pegoretti site over for a long while. You don't move on a brand like Pegoretti — a partner of ours for years — until the threads have genuinely come together. Eventually they did. Technology we'd been considering, design directions we'd been scribbling, e-commerce thinking shaped around how the Bottega actually works.

What landed is a deep digital amplification of the Pegoretti culture. New design and typography, playful icons that nod to the Bottega, and a story-led architecture that walks a visitor from the brand to Verona to the door of the workshop. Built headless on Next.js and Sanity, with a custom e-commerce flow that doesn't lean on Shopify or anything off-the-shelf — because Pegoretti isn't off-the-shelf either.

In a tech-heavy world, people still seek truth. They want real experiences, real connections — and anything that gets in the way of that won’t last.

At WBD, we work with head, heart and hands. All human, all the time. Anything else just isn’t much fun.
